F1 Ultra + acrylic: common questions

What is two-tone acrylic and why is it popular?

Two-tone sheets have a thin top layer over a contrasting core, so engraving reveals the second colour for crisp signs and badges. The trick is removing the top layer fully without digging into the core, which is what these settings are dialled in for.

How do I engrave clear acrylic so it shows up white?

Engrave from the back where possible and use the recipes marked engraves white. The frosted finish scatters light and looks bright white against the clear sheet.

Why do my results look different to yours?

Materials vary between batches and suppliers, machines drift, and focus matters. Treat every number here as a proven starting point, run a small test first, then adjust in small steps.
